Eric believes that team development starts with intentional conversations about the team’s pattern of working together and what the team ideally wants in their work environment. Eric has facilitated team development sessions for many different clients in industries such as health care, government, charity and business.
As Managing Director of the ACHIEVE, Eric provides leadership for a large team of staff and consultants. In this capacity, he directs the development and delivery of ACHIEVE’s training and facilitation services. In addition to his role with ACHIEVE, he is currently president and chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Manitoba and has worked as an administrator, board chair, senior mediator, trainer and lead negotiator for other organizations in various parts of Canada. Eric’s educational background includes a degree in sociology with a focus on mediation and peacemaking, extensive leadership development training and a certificate in mediation skills.
Eric is a contributing author to ACHIEVE’s Team Development materials. His specialties include team development with a focus on relationship building and conflict management. He has been leading and developing teams for nearly 20 years.
