Paul Carrick

Paul believes in the importance of client-centered and holistic approaches to addressing and resolving both personal and professional challenges. He believes that talking about mental health can present unique opportunities for individuals and organizations, and he is adept at navigating these opportunities with candor, humor and sensitivity.

As a facilitator, therapist, and mediator, Paul has 20 years of experience supporting people and organizations through moments of crisis, transition and conflict. In addition to working for ACHIEVE, Paul currently trains and facilitates for the Province of Manitoba. He is a Registered Social Worker who holds a Master of Social Work degree and a Human Resource Management diploma.

Paul has previously worked as a therapist and conflict resolution specialist in the areas of mental health and crisis, domestic violence, trauma and workplace conflict. Paul has also written or edited various training materials on topics such as trauma, crisis response planning and creating respectful workplaces for employees, managers and human resources.

Paul’s passion and compassion are very evident as he supports people through their unique experiences and environments.
