Mike believes the quickest way to improve the emotional climate of a workplace is for leadership to honestly pursue feedback from workers and to find ways to act on that feedback. He has helped over 100 organizations become better workplaces, including crown corporations, police forces, child protection agencies, manufacturing plants, fast-food restaurants, financial institutions, municipalities, Indigenous governments, universities and technical colleges, school divisions, supported living providers, churches and soup kitchen.
Mike’s educational background includes a degree in psychology and a 22-day certificate in mediation. He has written a number of ACHIEVE Training Center’s workshops, including Emotional Intelligence, Innovation at Work, and Safety at Work – Mindfulness-Based Strategies. He is also a Consultant, Facilitator and Curriculum Development Specialist at ACHIEVE.
