Randy believes leadership requires us to be thoughtful and intentional about what we do and how we do it – it takes time and requires work. While personality traits and talents make it easier for some people to lead than others, great leadership is developed through a continual process of self-reflection, self-study, education and experience. Coaching accelerates this learning process.
Randy is a visionary leader who, as President & CEO of ACHIEVE, has worked to situate ACHIEVE as one of the premier providers of professional development training in the areas of leadership development and workplace performance. He is also the President & CEO of the Crisis & Trauma Resource Institute Inc. (CTRI). Randy works closely with the Managing Director of ACHIEVE to lead a team of over 100 employees and trainers.
Randy is a Registered Social Worker who holds a Master of Social Work degree and a Bachelor’s degree in conflict resolution. Before founding CTRI and ACHIEVE, Randy worked as a mediator, social worker and mental health specialist. Randy is the author of the upcoming book The Ordinary Leader – 10 Key Insights for Building and Leading a Thriving Organization and a contributing author to many of ACHIEVE’s resource manuals.
Randy consults, coaches and teaches leadership and management principles to a wide range of audiences in business, health and government settings. He is a dynamic coach and facilitator who presents concepts and insights in engaging and humorous ways.
