Noela Crowe-Salazar

Noela is Cree and is a member of Cowessess First Nation in Saskatchewan. She holds a Master of Social Work degree and is a Registered Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in management and front-line roles within government and First Nations settings. Noela has led provincial engagements with diverse groups from the areas of government, the private sector, and First Nations. She also has extensive experience in policy development, program design, quality assurance, team building, strategic planning, and advising to management teams, executive leaders, and boards. In addition to training with ACHIEVE, Noela is a sessional lecturer at the University of Regina and a private practice counsellor and consultant. The foundation of her work and practice are grounded in her culture and values as an Indigenous woman, and a belief that everyone has inherent strengths and wisdom. As a trainer, Noela is passionate about working collaboratively with communities and organizations to build workplaces and practices that support people and foster wellness.
